OUR WORK

At MOVE, we believe in using physical fitness and group counseling to help our youth develop skills needed to navigate the world ahead of them.

Through the use of physical activities and group counseling techniques, we help students develop the skills to resolve conflict, manage stress, and cope with issues that are prevelant in their lives.

OUR WHY

Students in socioeconomically disadvantaged areas are falling victim to the school-to-prison pipeline.

It’s clear that schools and political systems must help address how unequal treatment in the classroom contributes to the  school-to-prison pipeline.

At the same time,  we believe it’s equally important to help scholars understand and address their inability to cope with the frustrations that stem from their environments, such as stress and conflict.
